My name is Jason Stella and I’m an artist from NYC. I have posted a series of WW! and WW!! posters which I have altered to reflect anti-war and/or anti-corporate ideals. Some of the images are comical, while others graphically depict the horrors of war. I’ve wheat pasted more than a few here in NYC by myself, and I’m hoping to get others involved so that people will find these messages as inescapable as the corporate ads that I’ve pasted them over. This is about many things, such as reclaiming public space, as well as exposing people to the mechanisms of propaganda, with hopes that they will then recognize it in its other forms. So if you’d like to get involved in postering, you can contact me or simply download the images and have at it.
