The End Corporate Dominance Alliance is holding its Western Regional Conference to End Corporate Dominance over Ecosystems and Communities. - Tell the history of past citizen authority over corporations
- Give examples of indigenous ways of thinking from sustainable cultures not totally desroyed by corporate colonized practices
- Offer workshops for discussing diverse tactics and strategies for a sucessful movement to end corporate dominance
- Explore alternatives to corporate dependency (e.g., work and housing co-ops, organic farming barter and alternative currencies, local-scale renewable technologies, town meetings, grassroots union democracy, dialogs debtors movements, etc)
The conference is free, with acceptance of donations and voluntary opportunities to sustain the movement against corporate power and the movement to empower local communities and economies. The conference provides for open public dialog. Participation from diverse sectors and communities is a priority.
